1. Hydrodynamic activated cell sorter(HACS) based blood cell separation (In vitro diagnostic applications)
-Cell size based hydrodynamic activated cell sorter
-Prior to the isolation of CTCs, red blood cell and platelet can be removed from human peripheral whole blood sample
-The system can sort the blood cell with high throughput (250 micro-liter per minute) without pre-treatment processes
2. Magnetic activated cell sorter(MACS) based heterogenic CTCs isolation and discrimination (In vitro diagnostic applications)
-Magnetic activated cell sorter for the isolation of CTCs in human peripheral blood sample to diagnose the tumor metastasis
-Magnetic nano-particle is designed to conjugate to biomarker on the cell membrane for the selective isolation
-The system can isolate 8 different sub-types of CTCs with high isolation efficiency (>99%)
-Magnetic activated cell sorter for the isolation of CTCs in human pheriperal blood sample to diagnose the tumor metastasis
-Magnetic nano-particle is designed to conjugate to biomarker on the cell membrane for the selective isolation
-The system can isolate 2 different sub-types of CTCs with high throughput (150 micro-liter per minute) and efficiency (>96%)
3. Droplet microfluidics based three-dimensional tissue fabrication (Precision medicine applications)
-Droplet based microfluidics for the mass fabrication of three-dimensional tumor model (spheroid)
-The system can generate 10,000 to 30,000 tumor cell encapsulated droplets in 15 minute
-Avg. 150 micro-meter diameter of tumor spheroid model can be fabricated in 24 hours
4. Tumor-microenvironment-on-chip (Precision medicine applications)
-Tumor and its microenvironment is reconstituted on microfluidic system
-Tumor-microenvironment-on-chip (T-MOC) can mimic the physico-biochemical conditions of tumor and its microenvironment
-T-MOC can independently control the conditions of capillary, lymphatic, tumor or extracellular matrix(ECM)
-T-MOC can simulate the complex transport phenomena of anti-cancer drug or drug delivery system (DDS) to the target tumor site
5. Micro-nano fabrication system
-The UV exposing system is light weight (<10kg), desk-top size (~20 X 20 X 30 cm), 365nm wavelength light, and suitable light intensity (5 to 10mJ/s) for the micro-nano fabrication processes for 4 inch dia. silicon wafer
-The technology patent of desk-top size UV exposing device is transferred to Korean Small Manufacturer Promotion Association (한국소공인진흥협회)
